The first is the Black Matt Edition which comes finished in gloss black on the front lip spoiler, front bumper inserts, side skirts and rear diffuser among others.

TopCar aims to bump power to between 404 kW (542 bhp / 55 0PS) and 552 kW (740 bhp / 750 PS) for all three cars.

G-Power M3 GT2 S and M3 Tornado CS clubsport

Engineers at German tuning firm G-Power have rolled out two vehicles to honor the BMW Motorsport team for their win at the 2010 24 Hours of Nurburgring endurance race. The G-Power M3 GT2 S targets BMW lovers "looking for a vehicle along the lines of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS," while the G-Power M3 Tornado CS is the "civilian version" of the same car, according to a press release from the company.

Both cars are street legal, and both are focused around the €10,800 (excl. tax) SK II CS supercharger upgrade, which includes the same compressor as the Alpina B6 GT3, as well as an aluminum airbox, aluminum charge air cooler, and dual flow carbon intake. Meanwhile, a titanium exhaust reduces weight by 26 kilograms.

The changes allow both vehicles to see nearly a 43 percent increase in power, with a spec sheet that lists 600 PS (441 kW), and up to 580 Nm (428 lb-ft) of torque. Top speed on the car is 330 km/h (205 mph) when using the seven-speed DCT gearbox, with the six speed manual transmission allowing the car to operate at up to 320 km/h (199 mph).

Where the two cars differ substantially is in weight. The GT2 S uses a full carbon-fiber body kit, with replacement parts at the front skirt, each of the wings, and the rear end. The front and lip spoilers are also made from the lightweight material. In total, the M3 GT2 S weighs 150 kg less, despite having the same power output as the Tornado CS.

This allows the GT2 S to sprint from a standstill to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than the Tornado CS. 0-200 km/h for the GT2 S was not revealed, but its sister model hits that mark in 11.8 seconds. Keeping the Tornado CS on the road are forged Silverstone ClubSport wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The 20-inch wheels measure nine-inches wide at the front, and 10.5-inches at the rear. The GT2 S uses Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires wrapped around three-piece Silverstone RS wheels measuring 9x20 front and 11.5 rear.

The full price on the G-Power M3 GT2 S begins at €139,495, exclusive of taxes and paperwork. The retail price of the G-Power M3 Tornado CS shown in the photos was not disclosed.

Peugeot 308 GTi Launched

Peugeot has announced the 308 GTi.

For many fans of the French marque it's time to say "finally". It's been more than 10 years since Peugeot has brought out a GTi in this class of vehicle.

The Peugeot 308 GTi will come with the same 1.6 litre THP 147 kW (200 PS) engine that will be featured in the RCZ coupe model. That engine makes the 308 GTI competitive with the 155 kW (211 PS) of the Golf GTI - the benchmark GTI for this segment.

The THP engine, fitted with a twin-Scroll turbocharger and a high pressure direct-injection system with VTi technology (variable valve and timing injection), produces 275 Nm (203 lb-ft) of torque and will come mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 7.7 seconds while fuel consumption will be 6.9 liters/100 km and CO2 emissions 159 g/km.

A sound system technology has also been employed to make sure the engine rumble provides for just the right sporty sound that customers will be looking for.

For the proper GTi ride the 308's front MacPherson suspension gets larger bearings with specific damper settings for the 22 mm rods (20 mm in the standard car). The rear torsion beam suspension also gets the same damper treatment.

On the outside are 18-inch wheels with 225/40 R18 tires, a rear spoiler, a lowered rear bumper fitted to a black (Perla Nera) diffuser and dual chrome exhaust pipes. The front fascia also gets a lowering panel borrowed from the 308 CC and a carbon-style insert beneath the front bumper.

GTi-badges are featured on the side and rear of the car.

On the interior are an aluminum foot rest and gear knob and a leather sport steering wheel.
